The Sun, Sea, and Sand of Thailand

Adored for its scenic tropical islands, Thailand’s beaches are the definition of paradise for many all over the world. Among the 1,400-something islands and islets of the Southeast Asian holiday destination, here are highlights of a few of our favourite ones.

Bang Pat Fisherman Village, Phang Nga Bay, Phuket

Built in the glorious mangroves, the fishing village is situated just at the entrance of the open sea, a part of Phang Nga Bay. The sale of seafood is the livelihood of most villagers here, and their promise is the freshest fish, prawn, crab, and shellfish at the local restaurants. We highly recommend you to tuck into the very enjoyable catchAfter a satisfying lunch, there is the option of renting a longtail boat to explore the serene sea, or choose to wander around the mangrove creek, and where the villagers reside, which are separated by a 150-metre bridge, get a glimpse of their everyday island life.

Railay Beach, Krabi

Nearby, Railay Beach lays in wait, between the cities of Ao Nang and Krabi. Railay seems every part an island, but it is considered Thai mainland, and is located on the side of Andaman Sea, though the only mode of transport in is by boat.

Down south of Railay is the breath-taking Phra Nang Beach where a singular luxurious resort that built around the surrounding lush greenery is located. Guests at this establishment enjoy dedicated butler service. In some rooms, there are private pools as well for guests to relish Mother Nature.

Hiking and rock climbing are some viable activities as Railay is blessed with inland jungles, and has had trails and climbing routes marked outBespoke Infinite is able to recommend a reputable vendor that offers adequate and safe equipment rental and guide service for amateurs and seasoned climbers alike.

Romantic French restaurant on Pattaya

Located in a quiet road less than a kilometre from Pattaya Walking Street in a romantic Thai Bali-style house with a beautiful garden courtyard and a terrace, Café des Amis boasts French cooking and the largest selection of Imported beef, including world-class cuts. Seafood such as lobster and oysters, foie gras, and fine wines are also available. Over sixty labels from around the world and 10 different champagnes can be found in the cellar, so there is plenty to go with the exquisite food. As the cherry on top, Café des Amis is also the largest gin bar in Thailand, and a glass in hand is always a nice way to while away the evening.
